Engagement Explosion Box

Hi Everyone!

It is a miracle of love when you meet your soulmate and realise that you found the person you are destined to spend the rest of your life with together, isn't it?

This explosion box was made to impress a young couple and to remind them of the unforgettable event that happened recently in Roma, Italy.

To make it I used some sheets of Pion Design "Seaside Stories" and Reprint "Miss Margit" which you can see in the list below.

I don't usually combine pale pink and pale blue often but this time had a go and the result is more than impressive.

As you can see many cutouts and tattered doily die cutting were implemented in it.

This heart pearl rhinestone was an essential embellishment of the project. It has contributed to the sophisticated look of the box.

A massive amount of pale blue mini foamiran flowers with sparkly glitter centres and foam clusters decorated all the box.

Thank you for stopping by!
Wish you a wonderful new week!

Colour Array

Hello dear friends!

Welcome to my beautiful array of rainbow colours. As dark and rain is the day outside as vivid are the colours in my projects.

Today's card was made from 2 pieces beautiful scrapbook paper from two different sets, Mintay Lovely Day and Pion, Seaside Stories (Summer breeze). I used some cutouts from the first one that stands out perfectly against the baby bluish background.

I added some tiny foamiran flowers which compliment my brightly layered card.
As nature dictates the bee took centre place.

What I have used more, you will see in the list below.

I used 2 types of foamiran to make my flowers, genuine yellow one and organza foam which was coloured with Tury acrylic paint.

What I have used more, you will see in the list below.

Thank you for visiting!
Have a wonderful crafting!

Intricate Lace Hello Baby Girl Card

Hello lovely people!

This time I am going to show you a very delicate baby girl card made with stunning Craft&you scrapbook paper. I adore the design of small pink roses sprinkled here and there.

Very easy to make, unpretentious but pretty shabby chick flowers made from silk zephyr foam contribute to the gentle card style.

The die cuttings made with Scrapman die set enhance the intricate effect of the card.

Wishing you all happy crafting!

Organza foam rose

Hello lovely people!

I like to challenging myself, so much so for that when Tracy asked me represent the brand new foam and to make a flower with it, I did not waste any time.
Here is it my first and successful attempt making at making an Organza Rose!

The new material is very delicate, transparent, silky soft and feather light . You do not need to use any heat source to shape it. No blisters and bruised fingers any more.

I used a few colours to die the rose and its leaves and believe me, I had so much fun playing with this new foam. I hope you enjoy working with organza foam as much as I've enjoyed.

Thank you for coming around!
Happy crafty week!

Garden Pansies

Hi Everyone!

Summer comes sprinkling a rich palette of colours everywhere. I wanted to catch some of them in my flower creations, so look what I've done :-)!
There are my reproduced garden pansies in a variety of spring shades.

The beautiful vivid flowers were made out of different colour foamiran strips, painted with oil pastels and each petal was cut by hand.

The template of the petal was taken from the real flowers in my garden.
I had great fun colouring my foamiran pansies. I used lots of tinted layers to reach this vibrant effect. Look at the scrap paper sheet I've used as a pad. It's all covered with oil paint :-)

There are a few close photo shoots:

Lastly, I've decided to join them in a colourful headband, so there it is this vivid headpiece:

I'm very happy with the result that I have achieved and I hope you find plenty of inspiration from my finished flowers!:-)

Hava a wonderful week!

My sweet peonies

Hello Everyone!

After a few projects featuring small flowers, I just realized I haven't posted big flowers for a while. Therefore, I've decided to show you my big peonies, made for Noor Design today.

This type of flower was quite challenging to make. After trying many techniques I have chosen the one I feel is the most suitable for the best end result.

For the flowers, I used white foamiran and for the leaves, dark green Iranian foam. The leaves were cut by hand. I took a leaf shape example from a real plant.

The petals were coloured with light pink oil pastel using a piece of dry kitchen sponge.

I hope you like my peonies.

Wishing you bright inspirational week!

Hugs!

Elena
